What we collect

When you sign in with Google, we receive your email, name, and avatar. While you use the product, we record: which career direction and scenarios you choose to try, knowledge gaps the AI identifies as you go (not scores or grades), behavioral signals like whether you retry after a setback, and the grade level you enter yourself. We don't request precise location, and we don't collect payment information (the product doesn't currently involve payment).

How we use it

To make the sandbox conversations and growth record work, and to generate self-facing content like the "Direction Analysis" feature. We don't use this data for advertising, and we don't sell it to third parties.

Who processes this data

Conversation content is sent to Anthropic (Claude API) to generate AI responses; account and behavioral data is stored with Supabase (our database provider). Both are service providers required to operate the product and don't use the data for their own separate purposes.

About users under 13

PathForge is designed for students aged 11-14 (grades 6-8). For students under 13, account registration and use requires a parent or guardian's knowledge and consent — at this stage, we handle this through direct conversations with parents, who arrange for their child to participate; there is no open self-serve signup for this age group. Students aged 13 and up can register themselves. Parents/guardians can contact us at any time to view, correct, or request deletion of their child's account data. We're actively building out a fuller privacy framework for minors, and this page will be updated as that lands.

Data deletion

You can contact us at any time to request deletion of your account and associated data. Deletion requests are currently handled manually by email while we build self-serve deletion.
